The DMX512-A standard requires no more than 32 DMX devices per daisy-chain and all data to be routed in daisy-chains. The Splitter V2 is not only a DMX Splitter, it also protects from surges, transients and even lightning. Featuring one DMX in plus passive loop-through and four optically-isolated DMX512-A outputs.

Lightning ground strikes within 300m of DMX wiring in landscapes and exterior structure projects can destroy sensitive DMX transceivers many of which can't cope with even slight spikes, so the Splitter with Lightning protection can survive where most die, making it an essential part of any DMX project.

This splitter includes an internal integrated user-selectable end-of-line termination resistor as well as a DMX ground to signal ground tie for noisy environments, each of which have individual on/off bit switches.
